Diplomas are 2 to 3 years undergraduate qualifications focusing on a particular job, profession or academic study.
Diploma programs in Malaysia are in accordance to the Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF) defined by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). They are designed to improve professional skills, technical skills, knowledge and understanding of a particular subject. These programs usually cover a wide range of topics aim to develop knowledge in various fields of studies. At the same time, soft skills and communication skills are also focused as it builds leadership skills and confidence level among students. Subjects and modules are excellently designed in accordance to Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) guidelines to ensure a better understanding and to prepare quality workforce to the job market.
Students will also learn entrepreneurial concepts to acquire essential knowledge and skills. This additional knowledge will increase individual’s confidence level to face new and challenging working world. By introducing diploma program with relevant subjects offered, students are better prepared for the next level, which is a bachelor’s degree program or to enter the job market with required competency.
The Diploma programs in GIS are recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and are fully accredited by Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).
All Malaysian school leavers with a pass in SPM, minimum 3 credits.
Other equivalent qualifications recognized by Malaysian government.
